Pico Laser for pigmentation treatment

Picocosecond OR Picolaser has multiple aesthetic treatment applications. It revitalizes your skin by removing unwanted pigment and age spots faster than ever before with minimal to no downtime. It is safe for all skin types, picolaser can dramatically reduce the appearance of imperfections while improving skin texture.
How does Pico laser work?
Unlike past laser technologies that rely solely on concentrated heat energy that leads to discomfort, swelling, redness, and downtime, Pico laser is a gentler approach that provides impressive results. The Pico laser magnifies by 20 times, which in turn creates laser-induced optical breakdown (LIOB) in the epidermis. The production of new collagen and elastin is then increased without the need for any downtime or side effects of traditional fractional and ablative lasers.
Pico laser can effectively treat unwanted pigmentation, acne scars, and fine lines and wrinkles with excellent results. Treatment is fast, non-surgical, and non-invasive, all while providing you with noticeably brighter skin in fewer treatments.

4. Post acne spots
5. Perioral and perinasal pigmentation
6. Facial melanosis

Which body parts can Pico laser be used on?
This treatment can be used in several areas of the body, including the face, chest, neck, legs, and hands.
How does Pico laser feel?
Most patients find the Pico laser treatment process very tolerable with minor discomfort and require no numbing cream or anesthesia. Pico laser delivers energy in ultra-short bursts, and patients often compare the sensation of the laser pulse to a snap of a thin rubber band.
How long is the recovery time?
After the procedure, the treatment area may be a bit tender. It’s essential to keep the area clean and to avoid any irritation. Our skin therapist will provide additional aftercare instructions as needed to ensure a quick recovery. Patients can return to their normal daily activities immediately with no recovery time.
How many treatments will I need?
During your consultation at Ziva skin and hair center, a personalized treatment regime will be created to help you achieve the pigment-free results you desire. All treatment plans will vary between individuals, but most patients will typically require a series of 3-4 treatments to deliver results. The darker, more extensive, and deeper pigmented lesions frequently require additional therapies, and this will be discussed during your consultation, so you know exactly what to expect.
Does Pico laser work for treating scars?
Unlike surgical treatments, a laser acne scar treatment uses ultra-short pulses of laser light to reach deeply into the skin’s sub-layers. Once the deep layers of the skin are reached, the body’s natural healing process is stimulated, and damaged tissue is then rebuilt with new collagen and elastin – the critical essentials for smooth-looking skin.
How soon will I see results?
Most minor imperfections will begin to show improvements in as little as two treatments, but a series of 3 to 5 treatments are frequently recommended for optimal aesthetic results. Dark pigmentation will slightly frost (whiten) during treatment and then darken over the following 24 hours, ultimately shedding away.
Are there any side effects?
Typical side effects following treatment may include temporary redness and swelling where the treatment was performed. Any side effects you may experience should subside within 24 hours.
Who is a good Candidate?
Pico laser uses high-pressurized energy rather than thermal heat to treat the skin, making it ideal for many different skin tones and skin types. Treatable skin types include very light to a majority of darker skin tones.
If you are looking to achieve a refreshed and more youthful look then Pico laser treatment may be the ideal treatment option for you.
